2010 - 2011 :

    Deputy CFO of Delsey Group 
    (Luggage designer, 114 M€ turnover, 350 employees, distributed worldwide) :

In charge of global finance team (Europe, USA, Asia), and financial information of this LBO financed group (Anglo-saxon funds). Complete reorganization of the team, set up of new consolidation, reporting and cash management tools, improvement of financial and legal processes, enhancement of internal skills and cost reductions.

2006 - 2010 :

    CFO of Groupe Passat 
    (“sale by image” of innovative products, specialized in retail business) :

Family owned listed company (56 M€ sales in 2009, Eurolist Paris C) with 5 subsidiaries, in the USA, Spain and Portugal. Set up of accountings and financial organisation, consolidation and controlling, financial information, enhancement of procedures and internal control. Centralization of accounting processes for all countries, cash management set up, cost reductions.

 

 

2004 - 2006 :

     CFO of Groupe Finuchem (robotics) :

Family owned listed industrial company (147 M€ sales in 2004, Eurolist C) twenty subsidiaries in France and Europe. Several financial projects in 2005 : acquisitions, divestments, convertible bonds issuance ,… Structure of financial organisation and group procedures, financial information, IFRS transition.

2002 à 2004 :

     Budgets and forecasts manager of Groupe Lafarge (77 000 employees, 15 B€ euros sales) :

Organisation, coordination, synthesis of budget process applied to the whole group, presentation to group financial managers. Reengineering of the process, management of the 12 people involved.

     Controlling manager of Lafarge Chaux (350 employees, 55 M€  sales) :

Reporting to the CEO, in charge of administration and finance of this entity, consolidating 6 subsidiaries in Europe and the USA. Management of subsidiaries financial managers. Building of business plans and management of due-diligences implied by strategic plans.

1992-2002 :
    Financial manager of MATRAnet
    (Vélizy, France and Silicon Valley, 90 employees, 4 MEUR sales, editor of internet security softwares) :

controlling, consolidation, management of book keeping and purchases. Creation of business plans, strategic plans, preparation of LBO.

    Audit and Organisation manager, member of the Board of Directors of SECA
    (Le Bourget, 450 employees, 90 MEUR sales, aircraft engine maintenance) :

Reengineering of financial and industrial processes, business plans, manager of stock allocation program for employees during Aerospatiale’s privatization (June 99).

 
    Financial procedures controller for SOGERMA
    
(Bordeaux-Mérignac, 1100 employees, aircraft maintenance)

Internal control enhancement analysis for this EADS sub-group. (Position created upon my suggestion).

     Aircraft maintenance Division Controller at SOGERMA.

Set up of financial and budget follow-up tools in this 450 employees Division. Management of 5 industrial controllers, organisation of industrial control, leading to a significantly better management of the profitability in real time.

 

De 1991 à 1992 :

     Member of the KPMG-Audit team of Bordeaux. Financial and organisation audit missions, mainly for industrial companies.

De 1990 à 1991 :

     Junior Controller for Direction Régionale Sud-Ouest of CEGELEC (electrical equipment and engineering).

Context : CFO departure

Duration : 3,5 months, part-time

Main achievements :

 

Our support has allowed the manager to define more precisely his expectations from the financial organization of this growing group, and the relationship he wished to develop henceforth with his CFO.

This recruitment has been dealt with serenely, without technical or management disruption in the financial function.

Our presence ensured a continued financial support, and an assessment of the necessary improvements, while preserving budget and flexibility.
